The Learning Project Auction
May 4th, 7pm
Revere Hotel Boston Common
We hope you will consider attending the event. All current and past LP parents are welcome, along with LP staff (past and present), dear friends of the school and alumni who are 21 years or older. Not sure if you’ll know anybody there? No worries; LP’ers are friendly folks. Still not sure? Then gather up a group of friends and come together!
The Learning Project Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year, and the immense generosity that our community demonstrates at the Auction is a critical component of our operating budget. Last year, we raised approximately $100,000 for our school – $60,000 of which came in during our Paddle Raise and went toward financial aid scholarships!
Each year, more money is needed for scholarships in order to sustain the level of socioeconomic diversity necessary for us to meet our Mission. We ask for your help, and we do so in the midst of what is sure to be an incredible party, full of laughter, joy, joined hands, a flurry of bids, and a dance floor of tapping feet. Also this year, in honor of the school's 45th Anniversary, we will recognize two of the school's founding teachers, David Jolly and Laurie Turner. Please join us on May 4th to celebrate them, and the foundation they built for the generations of LP staff, children and families who came after them.
*Note: This year's bidding will take place online. Bidding will open two weeks prior to the event. If you have purchased tickets and/or registered a credit card, your login information will be sent out to you when the bidding page goes live. More info to come!
